India showcased their dominance in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 with a resounding 93-run victory over Namibia at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Batting first, India posted a formidable 209/9 in 20 overs, powered by an explosive start in the powerplay where they smashed 86 runs in just six overs. Despite a brief slowdown in the middle overs, the Men in Blue regained momentum in the death overs to set a daunting target.
Namibia began their chase with intent, scoring 57/1 in the powerplay, but India’s disciplined bowling attack soon dismantled their batting lineup. Hardik Pandya struck crucial blows in the 17th over, Jasprit Bumrah delivered a trademark yorker to dismiss Ruben Trumpelmann, and Shivam Dube wrapped up the innings by removing Zane Green. Namibia were bowled out for 116 in 18.2 overs.
With this emphatic win, India not only strengthened their campaign but also sent a strong message to rivals about their batting firepower and bowling depth.
