The mortal remains of Rifleman Sunil Kumar, who lost his life in the line of duty during cross-border shelling in the RS Pura sector, were brought to his residence in Trewa village, Jammu, today.
A sombre atmosphere enveloped the village as family, friends, and fellow soldiers gathered to bid farewell to the braveheart.
Rifleman Kumar, a dedicated member of the J&K Light Infantry, made the ultimate sacrifice while serving at the forward post. Reports indicate that heavy shelling from across the border claimed his life, marking yet another tragic loss for the Indian armed forces.
