The Indian women’s hockey team stormed into the Super 4 stage of the Women’s Asia Cup 2025 with a commanding 12–0 victory over Singapore at the Gongshu Canal Sports Park Stadium on Monday.
The match was dominated from the outset, with Mumtaz Khan opening the scoring in the second minute and completing her hat-trick before halftime. Navneet Kaur also netted three goals, contributing to India’s relentless attack across all four quarters.
India scored four goals in the first quarter, three in the second, four in the third, and one in the final phase. The emphatic win not only secured qualification but also placed India at the top of Pool B, edging past Japan on goal difference.
This victory follows India’s 11–0 win over Thailand and a hard-fought 2–2 draw against Japan earlier in the tournament. The team’s aggressive play and clinical finishing have made them strong contenders for the title.
