The Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), under India’s Ministry of Corporate Affairs, is joining forces with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to host a ‘Niveshak Shivir’ investor empowerment camp in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Scheduled for 27 March 2026 from 10 AM to 4 PM at Event Square, Near Hotel Swosti Premium, Jaydev Vihar, the event serves as a comprehensive one-stop facilitation platform. It focuses on helping investors recover unclaimed dividends and shares (especially those transferred to IEPF after 6–7 years), update KYC details, add or modify nominations, and resolve pending grievance or claim issues related to IEPFA.
The camp emphasises direct, intermediary-free interaction between investors, participating companies (particularly those with large volumes of unclaimed amounts), and Registrars and Transfer Agents (RTAs). Dedicated service kiosks will be set up on-site for prompt, on-the-spot assistance and grievance redressal.
This Bhubaneswar edition is part of IEPFA’s broader nationwide outreach to boost financial literacy, promote transparency in the securities market, and simplify the reclaim process for forgotten investments. It reinforces the government’s commitment to creating a more secure, accessible, and investor-friendly financial ecosystem.
