‘I Clearly Failed’: CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Posts Satirical ‘Resignation’ Letter, Takes Dig at MP Govt Day After Balaghat Heckling

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke shared a satirical “resignation letter” on social media, pretending to step down as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, a day after he was heckled by a group of social media influencers during his visit to Balaghat.

Dipke had visited villages in Balaghat district to meet the families of tribal children who allegedly died due to infectious diseases and gather information about healthcare facilities in the region.

Dipke shares satirical resignation letter

In a post on X, Dipke wrote that he was resigning as the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister “with immediate effect” and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving him the “opportunity” to serve the state.

The letter was clearly presented as satire and was designed to resemble an official resignation document.

In the post, Dipke took a dig at the state government and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav over several issues, including the Balaghat infection deaths and the Sagar hooch tragedy.

CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka responded to the post in a sarcastic tone, joking that Dipke was “running away” from responsibility.

Dipke heckled during Balaghat visit

Dipke visited Adori, Korka and Bondari villages in Balaghat on Saturday to meet affected families and understand the local healthcare situation.

A viral video showed a woman social media influencer confronting Dipke as he was leaving in a car. She questioned him about whether he had come to “do politics on corpses” and asked why he had visited the area so late.

Dipke was heard apologising for arriving late.

The situation escalated as CJP workers accompanying him moved him into another vehicle and drove him away. The woman was subsequently heard saying that he had “run away”.

Local journalists reportedly expressed surprise at the presence of social media influencers from outside the remote area and questioned whether their visit was intended to disrupt Dipke’s programme. The claim about their motive, however, could not be independently established.

Madhya Pradesh HC seeks response over child deaths

The Madhya Pradesh High Court recently sought a response from the state government over the deaths of more than 30 children in the region.

The court issued notices to the state Health Department, Women and Child Development Department, Balaghat collector and others while hearing a PIL alleging inadequate treatment for children.

The petition also claimed that around 400 children were being treated at a hospital with a capacity of only 50 beds.

A report submitted by the petitioner alleged unhygienic conditions in the area and claimed that these were contributing to infections and continued deaths.

Sagar hooch tragedy

The issue comes amid another major health-related tragedy in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district, where 16 people died after allegedly consuming spurious liquor in the Banda area.

According to the report, 19 accused have so far been arrested in connection with the case.

Fomepizole, an antidote used in suspected methanol or toxic alcohol poisoning, has emerged as an important part of treatment for affected patients. Officials said the drug has helped save more than 30 lives so far.

Fomepizole works by preventing the formation of toxic metabolites from methanol and is used when toxic alcohol poisoning is suspected.
