Three teachers sustained serious injuries after a swarm of wild bees attacked them near Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir at Rajbati in Nilgiri early Thursday morning.
The incident occurred around 6:15 a.m. when teachers were arriving at the school premises.
According to reports, the bees had built a hive near Raja Garh and Singh Dwar. As the teachers passed the area, the bees suddenly attacked, stinging their faces and bodies. Students arriving at the school narrowly escaped the attack.
Locals and school staff rushed the injured teachers to Nilgiri Medical Centre for treatment. Doctors confirmed that their condition is now stable. The victims have been identified as teacher Krushna Hota and teachers Deepti Prusti and Prabha Manjari Nayak.
