Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha will experience thunderstorm and rainfall activities till June 23. Following this, the office of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) today issued an advisory to the Collectors directing them to closely monitor the situation.
The SRC said: “As per the midday weather bulletin issued by IMD today, Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of north Odisha and at a few places over the districts of south Odisha. Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Sundergarh, Balasore, Bhadrak, Ja]Pur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur.”
The Collectors have been asked to take appropriate action in case of any eventuality.
