Heavy rain has lashed the capital city, Bhubaneswar, leading to severe waterlogging across several areas. The downpour, which continued for around 45 minutes, turned roads into streams, bringing traffic to a complete standstill.

Rainwater has been seen gushing through the streets, disrupting normal life. Many commuters were stranded as vehicles moved slowly or came to a stop due to the waterlogged roads.

The sudden spell of heavy rain has once again exposed the city’s poor drainage system, with several low-lying areas submerged under rainwater. Authorities are monitoring the situation as residents continue to face inconvenience.
