Security forces on Thursday established contact with terrorists hiding in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district, following which a gunfight broke out, according to sources.
Earlier, Indian security agencies released the sketches of three suspected terrorists – Asif Fuji, Suleman Shah and Abu Talha – who are believed to be behind the attack that left 26 tourists dead in Pahalgam.
A massive manhunt has been launched to locate the five to six terrorists who had emerged out of the pine woods and had opened fire with their AK-47s on unsuspecting tourists in the Baisaran meadow.
