Global Evacuation Calls as Israel-Iran Conflict Edges Toward Full-Scale War

Fears of a full-scale war between Israel and Iran are mounting as major global powers, including the United States and China, urge their citizens to leave the region immediately.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) intensified their military campaign inside Iran on Monday, striking key infrastructure in Tehran, including oil depots and missile facilities. Smoke was seen rising from the Sharan Oil Depot, which Iranian officials said was targeted by Israeli airstrikes.

In an unprecedented move, the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesperson, Col. Avichay Adraee, issued a public warning on social media, urging residents in parts of Tehran to evacuate immediately, citing imminent strikes on military infrastructure—mirroring alerts typically issued in Gaza.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump, attending the G7 Summit in Italy, echoed similar urgency. Posting on Truth Social, Trump warned, “Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!” and reiterated his stance: “IRAN CANNOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON.” He added cryptically, “As soon as I leave here, we’re going to be doing something.”

Adding to global concerns, China’s embassy in Tel Aviv also urged its nationals to evacuate Israel and nearby areas via land crossings into Jordan, citing the closure of Israeli airspace and increasing civilian casualties.

On the diplomatic front, Iran has threatened to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), a move that could escalate tensions significantly. A government spokesperson confirmed that “all options are on the table.”

Since hostilities began last Friday, over 224 people—mostly civilians—have reportedly died in Iran, while Israeli authorities have confirmed 24 deaths and more than 590 injuries.
