Business magnate Gautam Adani marked his presence at the world-renowned Rath Yatra in Puri today, blending spiritual reverence with community service.
Arriving at Biju Patnaik International Airport around 9:45 AM, Adani later visited the Gundicha Temple, offering prayers and engaging with sevayats and fellow devotees during his hour-long spiritual sojourn.
As part of his day-long visit, Adani is also scheduled to meet Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi in the evening. The meeting, slated for 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM, will precede his return flight from Bhubaneswar at 8:30 PM.
Notably, the Adani Group has launched an expansive ‘Prasad Seva’ initiative at Puri Dham during the Rath Yatra, offering logistical and welfare support to pilgrims and frontline workers. This effort underscores the conglomerate’s growing footprint in cultural and community outreach efforts across India.
The Rath Yatra, drawing millions of devotees annually, continues until July 8, with this year’s edition witnessing a heightened sense of participation and devotion enhanced by corporate social engagement.
