Formula One and the FIA have officially unveiled the full schedule for the 2026 season, marking a significant shift in the global motorsport landscape.
The calendar features 24 races, including the highly anticipated debut of the Madrid Grand Prix.
The 2026 season is set to begin with the Australian Grand Prix from March 6 to 8, maintaining its status as the traditional opener. The addition of Madrid, scheduled for September 11 to 13, signals a new era for Spanish motorsport, as it is expected to replace Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya in the coming years.
Beyond the geographical adjustments, the season will introduce new technical regulations aimed at improving sustainability and performance. The introduction of 100% advanced sustainable fuels aligns with F1’s push toward an environmentally conscious future.
The schedule has also undergone logistical refinements, creating a streamlined European leg that starts in Monaco (June 5-7) and continues through Spain, Austria, the UK, Belgium, Hungary, and the Netherlands before culminating in Madrid.
Additionally, Ford will make a comeback by partnering with Red Bull, while Audi and Cadillac will also enter the grid, further diversifying the competitive landscape.
With a revamped racing calendar and groundbreaking regulatory shifts, the 2026 Formula 1 season is poised to deliver high-speed thrills and historic milestones.
