Chandaka police have arrested five persons in connection with the murder of a 20-year-old youth, identified as Satrughna Birua @ Satura, of Jajpur district. The incident occurred late on November 24 near Godibari village.
According to police, the deceased had consumed local liquor (handia) with a woman at a village shop before engaging in a physical relationship nearby. Villagers spotted the duo, prompting Satrughna to flee half-naked, leaving behind his scooter, mobile phone, and slippers.
