In a sensational development that has sent shockwaves through Odisha’s political corridors, the Capital Police Station has registered an FIR over the mysterious disappearance of two critical inquiry commission reports from official government records.
The missing documents — the Naidu Commission Report and the RDC Inquiry Report into the devastating Sum Hospital fire incident — have raised serious questions about accountability, transparency, and possible foul play during the previous regime.
The Naidu Commission, headed by Justice A.S. Naidu, had investigated major incidents from Odisha’s past, including sensitive communal and administrative matters. Its findings were expected to provide closure and recommendations on long-standing issues.
Meanwhile, the RDC (Revenue Divisional Commissioner) Inquiry Report delved into the tragic 2016 Sum Hospital fire in Bhubaneswar, which claimed over 20 lives and exposed serious lapses in fire safety and hospital management at the time.
