The fourth edition of the Kautilya Economic Conclave (KEC 2025) is set to take place from October 3–5, 2025 at the Taj Palace, New Delhi, bringing together global thought leaders, policymakers, and economists to explore pathways to prosperity amid global uncertainty.
Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman will inaugurate the event, while Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs, will close the proceedings with reflections on India’s foreign and economic policy. The theme for this year’s conclave, “Seeking Prosperity in Turbulent Times,” reflects India’s resilience and ambition in navigating geopolitical and economic shifts.

With 75 international participants from over 30 countries, KEC 2025 will feature sessions on:

A marquee conversation between Jean-Claude Trichet, Honorary Governor of the Banque de France, and RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra will address the challenges of central banking in volatile times.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will lead a forward-looking session on “Communications: Emerging Technologies,” featuring experts in AI and digital infrastructure. Legal reform will also take center stage, with Harish Salve and Larry Kramer discussing the role of law in economic growth, chaired by Shri Shaktikanta Das.
