Bolangir: A farmer was electrocuted to death after he stepped in a trap laid by poachers to catch wild boars at Karuajhar village under Deogaon Police station limits in Bolangir district.
According to reports, the incident occured after the victim accidentally came in contact with a live wire trap set to capture wild boars. Subsequently, he died of electrocution on the spot.
Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased levelled murder allegations against two other farmers who had laid the trap.
On being informed, the forest personnel reached the spot and launched a probe in this regard.
