The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a clarification regarding a fake letter that has been circulating on social media, falsely announcing the result date for Class 10 and 12 board exams.
The fraudulent letter, dated May 2, 2025, misled many students and parents, causing unnecessary confusion and anxiety.
CBSE has firmly denied the authenticity of this letter, stating that no official result date has been declared yet. The Board urged all stakeholders to remain calm and vigilant, advising them to rely only on official CBSE channels for verified information regarding exam results.
The propagation of such misinformation highlights the growing misuse of social media for spreading false news. CBSE emphasised the importance of checking information only from trusted sources and avoiding engagement with unverified reports.
Authorities are expected to announce the official result date in due course, and students are advised to stay updated via CBSE’s official website and press releases.
