The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced major temporary changes in train operations owing to safety-related modernisation work between Jajpur Keonjhar Road and Bhadrak section.
These changes will remain in effect from September 16 to 22, 2025, impacting passengers on several key routes connecting Puri, Cuttack, Howrah, and Secunderabad.
Train Cancellations

Puri–Jaleswar–Puri MEMU (68442/68441) – Cancelled on Sept 16, 19, 20 & 22 (Monday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday).
Short-Terminations & Short-Originations

Bhadrak MEMU (68424): Will be short-terminated at Jajpur Keonjhar Road on Sept 17 & 21.

Bhadrak–Cuttack MEMU (68423): Will originate from Jajpur Keonjhar Road on the same dates.

Cuttack–Bhadrak MEMU (68438): Will be short-terminated at Jajpur Keonjhar Road on Sept 19 & 22.
