The Odisha government has announced key appointments in the state’s medical education and training framework.
Dr Durga Madhab Satapathy, who was serving as Superintendent of MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur, has been appointed as the new Director of Medical Education & Training (DMET), Odisha.
In a simultaneous development, the current DMET, Dr Santosh Mishra, has been appointed Director of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Bhubaneswar.
These key appointment is seen as a strategic move to further strengthen medical education and healthcare delivery across Odisha.
