The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has joined forces with YES BANK by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The collaboration aims to provide critical support to product startups, innovators, and entrepreneurs, with a focus on funding access, mentorship, and market linkages.
Under this partnership, DPIIT will utilize its Startup India initiative, while YES BANK will contribute through its Head Startup program. This includes tailored banking and financial services, such as working capital assistance, credit access, and cash flow management. Startups will also gain access to YES BANK’s extensive network, strategic partnerships, and industry expertise to drive their growth and investment opportunities.
Commenting on the MoU, Joint Secretary, DPIIT, Shri Sanjiv said, “India’s startup and manufacturing sectors are at a pivotal point. Partnerships like this play an essential role in fostering innovation and enabling startups to scale operations effectively.”
The MoU was signed by Director, DPIIT, Dr. Sumeet Jarangal, and Zonal Head, YES BANK, Rohit Aneja, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations. This collaboration is seen as a significant move toward building a robust and self-reliant startup ecosystem in India.
The partnership highlights the commitment of both parties to foster innovation-led economic growth in the country.
