Meanwhile, Kuntala’s 5-years-old son, Kaikeyi’s 15-months-old daughter, and Tapai’s 13-months-old daughter somehow found a bag of urea fertilizer kept inside the house and mistaking it for sugar they mixed it with some flatten rice (Chuda) and consumed a small portion.
When the food tasted extremely bitter, the minor boy informed their grandmother about it and Jamuna also consumed a small portion to taste what was wrong with the food. Within a few moments, all of them started vomiting and fell seriously ill.
In the meanwhile, Kuntala, Tapai and Kaikeyi returned home and found out that their mother and children had consumed urea fertilizer, mistaking it for sugar. The elderly woman and the three minor kids were then rushed to Bamparada Hospital for treatment.
