Bhubaneswar: In view of dense fog warning issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre here, the Office of the Special Relief Commissioner, Odisha issued an advisory for controlled plying of vehicles on National Highways.
In a letter to Collectors, SPs and Transport officials, the SRC has asked to take necessary steps for controlled plying of the vehicle on National Highways during dense fog to avoid road accidents.
It may be mentioned here that the IMD, in its afternoon bulletin, issued dense fog warning for several districts of Odisha from the night of 29 January till the morning of 1st February.
Minimum Temperature Forecast: No large change in Minimum temperature (Night temperature) over the districts of Odisha during next 24 hours and thereafter gradual fall by 3-40 C over the districts of Interior Odisha and by 2-30 C over the districts of Coastal Odisha.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Balasore and at one or two places over the districts of Sonepur, Boudh, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur.
Yellow Warning:
Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore.
