The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested four more accused in the November 10 Delhi blast case, raising the total number of arrests to six.

The agency identified the accused as Dr Muzammil Shakeel Ganai of Pulwama, Dr Adeel Ahmed Rather of Anantnag, Mufti Irfan Ahmad Wagay of Shopian, all from Jammu and Kashmir, and Dr Shaheen Saeed of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

NIA officials confirmed that they took the four accused into custody in Srinagar on production orders from the District Sessions Judge at Patiala House Court. Investigators stated that the accused played key roles in the terror attack that killed 13 people and injured 32 others.

Earlier, NIA arrested two suspects — Amir Rashid Ali, in whose name the car used in the blast was registered, and Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish, who allegedly provided technical support to the terrorists. According to investigators, Jasir modified drones and attempted to make rockets to aid the attack. A Delhi court recently sent Amir Rashid Ali to 10 days of NIA custody.

The agency emphasised that interrogation of all six accused continues as part of efforts to unravel the complete terror conspiracy in case RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI. Officials noted that the arrests mark a significant breakthrough in dismantling the terror module responsible for the deadly blast.

The Union Home Ministry handed over the investigation to NIA soon after the attack. Since then, the agency has worked closely with state police forces to track and arrest every member of the network. Authorities assured that the probe will continue until all conspirators face justice.
