The Government of Odisha has appointed Debasis Singh, IAS (SCS-2015), as Additional Secretary to the Government in the General Administration & Public Grievance Department.
Prior to this appointment, Shri Singh was serving as the Additional Secretary in the Housing and Urban Development Department. His reassignment comes as part of ongoing efforts to streamline administrative efficiency and optimise departmental expertise within the Odisha Secretariat.
According to the official notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, the transfer has been made by order of the Governor of Odisha.
Such reshuffles are part of routine governance reforms undertaken by the state to ensure dynamic public administration, enabling officers to bring fresh perspectives across departments.
