Darshan Of Deities At Gundicha Temple To Remain Suspended From 5 Pm Tomorrow

Puri : D arshan of deities at Gundicha temple will be suspended from 5 pm tomorrow (July 14) for the completion of necessary preparations for Bahuda Yatra, informed Puri Collector Siddharth Shankar Swain. The process started on Friday with Dakhina Moda of all the chariots. The south turn of the Darpadalan and Taldhwaj Chariots of Devi Subhadra and Lord Balabhadra were done on Friday. Today, the Nandighosh chariot was turned southward direction. Now, three chariots are parked in front of the Nakachana door of Gundicha temple. Devotees can have darshan of the deities till 5 pm. The doors of the temple will be closed thereafter, the Collector said. Elaborate arrangements have been made for the return journey of the Lord.
