The Cuttack Panthers etched their name in history by clinching the title in the inaugural Odisha Pro T20 League 2025.
In a nail-biting final held at Barabati Stadium, the Panthers defeated Sambalpur Warriors by five runs under the DLS method.
The tournament, which ran from September 17 to 26, featured six competitive teams: Cuttack Panthers, Bhubaneswar Tigers, Puri Titans, Sambalpur Warriors, Rourkela Steelers, and Keonjhar Miners. The final was a high-octane clash, with standout performances from Raaz Yadav, who was named Player of the Final, and veteran Biplab Samantray, who earned the coveted Player of the League award.
The closing ceremony was a glittering affair, with former India internationals Maninder Singh, Chetan Sharma, and Narendra Hirwani felicitated by Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) officials. The champions received a trophy and a cheque of ₹50 lakh, while the runners-up Sambalpur Warriors were awarded Rs 25 lakh.
The league not only showcased emerging cricketing talent from Odisha but also set a new benchmark for regional T20 tournaments in India. With enthusiastic crowds, competitive matches, and star-studded ceremonies, the Odisha Pro T20 League 2025 concluded on a high note.
