The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially postponed the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2025, pushing the exam start date to May 13.
Originally scheduled to be conducted earlier, this delay comes in the wake of challenges posed by the recent NEET-UG 2025 exam.
The postponement has led to growing concerns among students awaiting their city slips and a revised schedule. The CUET-UG will be held in computer-based format across multiple shifts, covering 37 subjects. Students will have 60 minutes to complete each paper, which consists of 50 multiple-choice questions.
Unlike previous years, the NTA has not released a fixed timetable. Instead, candidates will receive their exam dates via city slips, providing details about their test locations. The delay has created uncertainty, especially among students travelling long distances to reach their assigned centres.
The CUET-UG 2025 will be conducted in 13 Indian languages, including English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, and others. Students are advised to stay updated with announcements from the NTA regarding their exam schedules.
