Bhubaneswar: Soon after the frontline workers were administered the vaccine against the deadly COVID-19 in the State, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik collected feedback from the beneficiaries.
The first beneficiaries (one each) from the Sundargarh District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar, and City Hospital in Behrampur shared their experiences with Patnaik on virtual mode.
The Odisha CM also lauded the health workers’ effort in the fight against the coronavirus.
The COVID-19 vaccination drive kick-started in Odisha at around 11:05 am, minutes after the nation-wide rollout of the vaccine by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.
As many as 161 session sites across Odisha has been identified for the drive.
In the first phase, nearly 16,000 beneficiaries will be administered the first dose of the vaccine today. Around 9,000 health workers will be given in the COVID-19 vaccine shot in the first phase in the Smart City.
