A coal-laden train en route from Dhamra to Jamshedpur caught fire near Markona in Balasore district on Wednesday.
Smoke was noticed billowing from two bogies, prompting immediate action to stop the train at Soro station.
The Soro Fire Department quickly dispatched a team to the scene. Firefighters efficiently extinguished the flames, ensuring that the situation did not escalate. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
