Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today launched the ‘Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha’ scheme in the Balasore and Bolangir districts through video conferencing from Bhubaneswar today. Under this Yojana, Rs 50 lakh will be given to each panchayat.
With this, 8 constituencies – Remuna, Bhograi, Jaleswar, Balasore, Simulia, Basta, Soro and Nilagiri of Balasore district have received Rs 178 crore for 4,465 projects in 356 gram panchayats of 12 blocks.
Similarly, Rs 158.50 crores have been sanctioned for 5 constituencies Bolangir, Titilagarh, Patnagarh, Kantabanji and Loisinga of Bolangir district for 3911 projects will be done in 317 gram panchayats of 14 blocks.
The state government has launched a rural-oriented ambitious scheme ‘Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha’ to strengthen the infrastructure of building a new and strong Odisha with a focus on every village.
In this program, the basic foundation of Odisha’s culture will be improved by spreading Jagannath culture in every village, and digital infrastructure will also be developed. This will be the basic foundation for building an ambitious Odisha.
