Due to inclement weather conditions in Bhubaneswar, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi was unable to land at the city’s airport and was diverted to Kolkata.
The Chief Minister was returning from a four-day official visit to New Delhi when his flight encountered unfavorable landing conditions.
Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Patra confirmed the diversion and stated that the Chief Minister’s itinerary had to be adjusted accordingly. The unexpected change has sparked discussions about the need for improved weather preparedness and airport infrastructure in Odisha’s capital.
Despite the disruption, sources close to the administration assure that the Chief Minister will resume his engagements in Bhubaneswar once conditions stabilize.
