Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar Friday evening and took stock of patient care during the night hours at the state-run premier health facility.
After discussions with the patients, the Chief Minister inquired about the facilities for their accommodation, food and attendants. Along with this, he also enquired about the hospital’s sanitation system.

The Chief Minister said, “Capital Hospital will be further modernised and more facilities will be provided for the patients”. He suggested further improvement in patient care in the hospital and for doctors and other staff to be more sensitive towards the patients.
On this occasion, the CM also discussed with the temporary employees of the hospital and understood about their salary.
The Chief Minister said that their benefits will increase after getting the new increased wages. CM Majhi highly praised them for shouldering their responsibilities with determination in a noble cause like patient care.
Capital Hospital Director Dr Dillip Kumar Panda was present during the CM’s visit.
