Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi launched a sharp attack on former CM Naveen Patnaik during the BJP’s Vijay Sankalp rally in Nuapada.
Without naming Patnaik directly, Majhi accused previous governments of making false promises and failing to deliver.
Majhi told the crowd that his government fulfills commitments and shows results. He claimed that the BJP had already acted on promises made during the election period.
Taking personal responsibility for Nuapada’s development, Majhi said he would ensure the district sees the pace of a “double engine government.” He emphasized that BJP came to serve and doesn’t need decades to prove its intent.
Majhi criticized both BJD and Congress for holding power for years without meaningful progress. He urged voters to support BJP for real change and declared the party’s victory as certain.
He also mentioned that Jay Dholakia, son of late BJD MLA Rajendra Dholakia, would complete his father’s unfinished work and contribute to Nuapada’s growth.
