Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of Shruti Toppo in Rajgangpur, Sundargarh district, and extended condolences to her grieving family.
Majhi met officials and directed them to provide immediate support to the victim’s relatives. He announced Rs 4 lakh ex-gratia assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for Shruti’s next of kin. He said the government stands firmly with the family during this painful time and will ensure they receive the necessary help.
The Chief Minister emphasised that his administration prioritises compassion and responsibility in such tragic circumstances. He assured that the relief amount will reach the family without delay. He also urged district authorities to remain vigilant and respond quickly to incidents that affect vulnerable communities.
