The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has formally withdrawn its agitation after Union Ministers J.P. Nadda and Jitendra Singh assured that all student demands would be met.

Following a detailed meeting, CJP National Spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka urged protesters to disperse peacefully, stating, “All our demands have been accepted, so we request the protesters to withdraw immediately and return home.”

During the talks, Nadda confirmed that the government had received a written draft outlining four points related to ongoing cases. He said the Centre agreed to provide copies of FIRs to the students and assured that no retaliatory action would be taken. Compensation for injured protesters was also discussed, with Nadda emphasising that maximum relief would be extended under existing rules.

The meeting concluded with a symbolic handshake between Union Ministers and CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, marking the end of weeks of unrest. The withdrawal follows the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, a key demand of the protesters.

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke welcomed the outcome but hinted at “bigger targets ahead,” signalling that the movement may continue to shape national debates on education and accountability.
