The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), in close coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), successfully brought back fugitive Aman alias Aman Kumar alias Aman Bhainswal from the United States to India.
Aman, wanted by Haryana Police for murder, rioting, and criminal conspiracy, played a key role in the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi Gang. He had earlier secured bail after arrest in India, but absconded and avoided trial.
Atthe Haryana Police’s request, the CBI issued a Red Notice through INTERPOL. Consequently, investigators traced and geolocated him in the USA. Following sustained efforts, authorities deported him to India.
Aman landed in New Delhi on January 7, 2026. Immediately afterwards, a Haryana Police team took him into custody at Delhi Airport.
