A speeding car collided with two motorcycles near Kainchapur under Poirasi panchayat in Ganjam block on Monday, leaving one person dead on the spot and two others critically injured.

According to reports, the car (registration number OD07AP4433) lost control and hit a Hero Honda Splendour (OR07L2142) and a TVS Apache (OD07AV6267) coming from the opposite direction. The impact was so severe that one rider died instantly at the accident site.

Local residents rushed to help and immediately shifted the injured victims to the nearest hospital for treatment. Doctors described their condition as critical.
