Police in Bhubaneswar revealed the truth behind the murder of Satyabrata at Niladri Vihar. ACP Sonal Singh Parmar confirmed that the killing stemmed from a triangular love involving Satyabrata, Dinesh Nayak, and Liza.
Investigators stated that Dinesh attacked Satyabrata inside a room where he found him with Liza. Liza tried to save Satyabrata, but the police clarified she had no role in the murder. ACP Parmar emphasised that no conspiracy was involved beyond the triangular love angle.
Police arrested Dinesh after his surrender. He remains the only accused in the Bhubaneswar murder case. Officers plan to conduct a crime scene recreation with him to establish the sequence of events.
Reports indicated that Dinesh and Liza lived together for a short period before he moved to Jagatsinghpur. On the day of the incident, Dinesh suspected Liza after she ignored his phone calls. His suspicion led him to confront her and Satyabrata, resulting in the fatal attack.
Police registered the case and continue their investigation. ACP Parmar confirmed that evidence points directly to Dinesh, while Liza’s involvement remains limited to being present during the attack.
