The National Para Fencing Championship 2025 is all set to take place in Bhubaneswar from March 28 to 31, bringing together the country’s top para fencers in a celebration of skill, agility, and determination.

The prestigious event will be held at Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium, Niladri Vihar, and Kalinga Sports Complex. It is being organised by the Para Sports Association of Odisha (PSAO) under the aegis of the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) with support from the Sports and Youth Services Department, Government of Odisha.

Over 200 para-athletes from 25 states and 20 teams are expected to compete for top honours, making it one of the most significant para-sporting events in the country this year.

Kamala Kanta Rath, President of PSAO, said, “We are thrilled to host this championship, which highlights the incredible talent of our para-athletes and strengthens Odisha’s commitment to sports and inclusivity. We aim to create an inspiring atmosphere for these remarkable athletes.”

Sunil Pradhan, Secretary of PSAO and Treasurer of PCI, added, “Para fencing demands exceptional skill and determination. This championship is a step towards promoting inclusivity in sports and providing para-athletes with the platform they deserve.”

The event aims to not only celebrate the abilities of para-athletes but also boost participation in para fencing across India. It will serve as a source of inspiration for many and highlight Odisha as a growing hub for sports excellence and inclusivity.
