On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Commissioner of Police Dr. S. Dev Datta Singh, IPS, along with senior police officials, honored the dedication and resilience of women serving in traffic and law & order roles.


The esteemed group included Addl. CP Narsingha Bhola, IPS, DCP Traffic Tapan Kumar Mohanty (OPS) (S), Addl. DCP Ankit Kumar Verma, IPS, Addl. DCP Amritpal Kaur, IPS, ACP Traffic Umakant Pradhan, and ACP Suchismita Das.

The officers recognized the hard work and commitment of women traffic staff, private auto driver Pujarini Mishra, and self-employed taxi pilot Dipti Rani Prusty by presenting them with roses and sweets as a gesture of appreciation.

Commissioner Dr. S. Dev Datta Singh praised these women for balancing family responsibilities, earning a livelihood, and contributing to the mainstream workforce with unwavering dedication. He applauded all women traffic personnel and those engaged in maintaining law and order for their inspiring journey.

The event aimed to celebrate the contributions of these remarkable women and encourage them to continue their impactful work in society.

The CP emphasized the importance of recognizing and supporting the efforts of women in such critical roles, especially on International Women’s Day.
