A birthday celebration in Bhubaneswar took a violent turn late Saturday night, resulting in a heated altercation near Sikharchandinagar Primary School, under Infocity Police Station limits.
The incident led to the registration of two cross cases, with both parties alleging assault against each other.
According to the police press release, the fight occurred during the celebrations, leaving multiple individuals injured. Based on complaints from both sides, authorities arrested two individuals—Kameshu Reddy (31) and Sagar Bisoi (26)—who later confessed to their involvement in the clash. Evidence was collected from the scene, and further investigation is underway.
The arrested individuals are residents of Sikharchandinagar, Bhubaneswar, and have been booked under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Police urge residents to exercise caution during public gatherings to prevent such incidents. Authorities are continuing their probe to ascertain the full details of the confrontation.
