The Congress party has convened a two-day All India Congress Committee (AICC) session in Ahmedabad, marking the first such event in Gujarat in 64 years.
Senior leaders from Odisha, including OPCC President Bhakta Charan Das and CLP Leader Rama Chandra Kadam, are among the attendees.
The session, held at the Sardar Patel Memorial and the banks of the Sabarmati, aims to strategize the party’s political course following recent electoral setbacks. Leaders from across the country are brainstorming ways to rejuvenate the party’s standing, particularly in Gujarat, where Congress has been out of power since 1995.
The event underscores Congress’s commitment to reviving its presence in key states and addressing challenges ahead of upcoming elections.
