Following the tragic stampede during Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) victory celebration on June 4, the franchise has pledged financial support to the affected families.

RCB announced that each of the families who lost a loved one would receive ₹10 lakh in compensation. Additionally, the team has created a dedicated fund, “RCB Cares,” to assist injured fans.

In an official statement, RCB expressed deep sorrow over the incident, saying, “Our fans remain at the heart of everything we do. We stand united in grief and will continue to support those affected.”

Eyewitness reports and security assessments indicate several lapses in crowd management at the event. Authorities are now investigating the circumstances leading to the stampede, as citizens and sports enthusiasts demand stricter safety protocols for large-scale celebrations.
