The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has officially launched the online application process for prospective homebuyers seeking allotment in its flagship residential project, Ekamra Residency, located at Subudhipur.
The application window is open through October 31, offering citizens an opportunity to secure modern housing within the capital city.
Spread across approximately 7.34 acres, Ekamra Residency has been planned as a modern residential enclave featuring a blend of 2BHK and 2BHK + Study housing units.
Unit Breakdown and Allotment Process
Under the current phase, BDA is offering 496 apartments divided across two high-rise blocks:

2BHK + Study Apartments: 288 units

2BHK Apartments: 208 units
Allotments will be finalised through a transparent, computer-generated lottery system to ensure a systematic allocation for eligible applicants.
“BDA has invited applications for the allotment of 496 apartments under the Ekamra Residency project. The apartments will be allotted through a lottery process, and interested applicants can submit their applications online within the stipulated period,” said Chanchal Rana, BDA Vice-Chairman.

UAN Registration: Applicants must first register for a Unique Account Number (UAN) on BDA’s Property Allotment System by providing valid proof of date of birth and address.

Online Portal: The UAN grants access to the entire workflow, including application submission, scrutiny tracking, lottery updates, provisional allotment status, and online payments.

Fee Structure: Applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 10,000, along with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) security amount of Rs 2 lakh.
