In a bid to advance inclusive urban development, the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) on Tuesday conducted a transparent lottery draw to allot homes to 38 beneficiaries under its Affordable Housing Projects (AHP) and In-situ Slum Redevelopment (ISSR) schemes.

The event took place at the BDA office in the presence of BDA Vice-Chairman Dr. N. Thirumala Naik, who emphasised the agency’s mission to uplift marginalised communities through secure housing and basic services.
“We aim to provide more than just shelter — our goal is to ensure a better quality of life with access to essential infrastructure and basic services,” said Dr. Naik.
