A high-level stakeholders’ consultation meeting for the Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri, and Paradeep Economic Region (BCPPER) was held at the Convention Centre, chaired by Smt. Anu Garg, Development Commissioner cum Additional Chief Secretary (ACS).
The session brought together key dignitaries including Smt. Anna Roy, Principal Economic Advisor at NITI Aayog, along with secretaries from Housing & Urban Development, Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts, and Science & Technology departments.
The meeting focused on crafting a strategic roadmap for BCPPER’s transformation into a vibrant economic hub. Discussions revolved around leveraging the region’s strategic location, cultural richness, and natural resources to boost investment, infrastructure, and entrepreneurship.
Stakeholders emphasized the importance of inclusive decision-making, regular feedback mechanisms, and collaborative problem-solving. The initiative aims to foster sustainable economic growth, improve regional connectivity, and uplift local industries.
Expected outcomes include enhanced inter-departmental coordination, identification of priority development areas, and a framework for long-term regional progress.
