Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner continue to dominate the ATP Rankings ahead of the Australian Open 2026 draw, while Alexander Bublik makes his Top 10 debut.
Alcaraz holds the No. 1 spot with 12,050 points, followed closely by Sinner at 11,500. Both players will be placed in opposite halves of the draw in Melbourne, just as they have been in the last four Majors. The draw ceremony for the year’s first Grand Slam will take place on Thursday.
Alcaraz and Sinner arrived in Melbourne without playing a competitive fixture this season, though they faced each other in an exhibition match in Incheon, South Korea. Their presence at the top of the ATP Rankings sets the stage for another exciting showdown.
Alexander Bublik climbed into the Top 10 for the first time after winning the Hong Kong Open, defeating Lorenzo Musetti in straight sets. Musetti, despite losing his seventh straight final, moved up two spots to a career-high No. 5, overtaking Felix Auger-Aliassime. Daniil Medvedev rose to No. 12 after winning his 22nd career title in Brisbane, while Brandon Nakashima jumped four spots to No. 29. Hubert Hurkacz made a remarkable leap of 30 places to No. 53 following his United Cup success.
In the Top 100, Arthur Rinderknech (26th), Aleksandar Kovacevic (54th), Kamil Majchrzak (58th), Alexander Blockx (95th), and Ignacio Buse (99th) all achieved career-high rankings.
Indian players also made notable progress. In doubles, Yuki Bhambri leads at No. 21, followed by N. Sriram Balaji (82), Anirudh Chandrasekar (92), and Rithvik Choudary Bollipalli (94). Niki Poonacha climbed seven spots to 145, while Ramkumar Ramanathan sits at 160. In singles, Sumit Nagal remains India’s highest-ranked player at 279, with Aryan Shah (394), Dhakshineswar Suresh (468), and Manad Dhamne (499) showing upward momentum.
