The Tendulkar household prepares for a grand celebration as Arjun Tendulkar, son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, marries his fiancée, Saaniya Chandhok, on March 5, 2026.
Festivities begin on March 3 with the main ceremony scheduled as an evening affair in Mumbai, followed by a dinner.
The venue remains undisclosed for security reasons, yet sources suggest a luxury hotel or private estate in South Mumbai. The family plans an intimate but high-profile event.
Sachin Tendulkar personally invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Cricket icons Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman, and MS Dhoni will also attend. Members of Arjun’s new IPL team, Lucknow Super Giants, along with his former Mumbai Indians teammates, are expected. Business leaders from the Graviss Group, which owns Baskin-Robbins India, The Brooklyn Creamery, and Kwality ice cream, will join the celebrations.
Saaniya Chandhok, granddaughter of industrialist Ravi Ghai, brings her own accomplishments. She is a qualified veterinary technician and founder of Mr Paws, a luxury pet spa in Mumbai. She graduated from the London School of Economics and has been a close friend of Arjun’s sister, Sara Tendulkar, for years.
For Arjun, 2026 marks a milestone year. Alongside his wedding, he begins a new chapter in cricket after being traded to Lucknow Super Giants for IPL 2026.
