The All India Freedom Fighters Samiti (Registered), New Delhi, has announced with profound sorrow the passing of its Working President, Shri Ravindra Vaman Rao Yelnoorkar, who left for his heavenly abode on February 3, 2026.
Shri Ravindra Yelnoorkar, a resident of Latur, Maharashtra, was a dedicated leader and the son of the late freedom fighter Shri Vamanrao Yelnoorkar. He carried forward his father’s legacy of patriotism and service to the nation through his active role in the Samiti, an organization committed to honoring and supporting freedom fighters and their families.
In an official statement, the All India Freedom Fighters Samiti expressed deep mourning for the loss of their devoted working president. “His contributions will remain an inspiration for generations to come,” the statement read. The organization extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of his noble soul.
The announcement was made by Apparao S. Navale on behalf of the Samiti.
Condolences have also poured in from prominent figures associated with freedom fighters’ movements. National Freedom Fighters Youth Wing President and MP Bhartruhari Mahtab, along with Odisha State Secretary Birupakshya Tripathy, conveyed their respects and solidarity with the family and the organization during this time of grief.
