In a major counter-terrorism success, security forces neutralised top Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander Mohammad Asif, alias ‘Hashim Moosa’, during a joint anti-militancy operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Code-named Operation Korag, the high-stakes operation was jointly executed by the Indian Army’s Chinar Corps, Jammu & Kashmir Police, and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
